Damilano Barolo Raviole 2021 is a classic expression of Nebbiolo from one of Barolo’s most respected historic producers. Sourced from the Raviole subzone in Grinzane Cavour, it combines Barolo’s depth and structure with a notably refined, harmonious style.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a ruby-red color with garnet reflections, already hinting at the elegance and evolution to come. The nose is lifted and aromatic, with floral notes of violet alongside cherry, wild strawberry, and a subtle earthy depth. On the palate, the wine is balanced and full, with a soft, generous texture framed by fresh acidity and fine, precise tannins. The finish is long and persistent, suggesting excellent aging potential and the ability to develop beautifully over time.

Production
This Barolo is made entirely from Nebbiolo grown in the Raviole subzone of Grinzane Cavour, in Piedmont’s Barolo heartland. The grapes are carefully selected and undergo temperature-controlled fermentation for around 20 days, helping preserve the variety’s aromatic lift and varietal purity while building the structure needed for long aging.

A natural match for rich Piedmontese dishes, braised beef, game, truffle pasta, and mature cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours to let the aromas open and the tannins soften.
