Damilano Barolo Lecinquevigne is a classic Barolo that brings together the structure and elegance Nebbiolo is known for, drawn from some of the most historic vineyards in the Barolo area. Produced by one of Piedmont’s most respected estates, it reflects both tradition and precision in a wine with unmistakable depth and character.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a ruby-red color with orange reflections, a hallmark of Barolo as it begins to evolve. The nose is intense and layered, opening with rose, leather and tobacco, while hints of violet and tar add complexity and lift. On the palate, it is rich and enveloping, with a broad texture and a predominantly soft feel despite the natural grip of Nebbiolo. The finish is long and persistent, suggesting a wine built to develop gracefully over time. With proper cellaring, it has strong aging potential and will continue to gain nuance and harmony.

Production
This Barolo DOCG is made from 100% Nebbiolo sourced from vineyards in the Barolo zone, including parcels tied to some of the appellation’s oldest vineyard sites. The grapes are harvested from established vineyard holdings and fermented at a controlled temperature for 15 days, a method that helps preserve the grape’s aromatic precision while shaping the wine’s structure and balance.

Food & Serving
Serve this Barolo with hearty dishes such as braised beef, truffle risotto, game, porcini mushrooms or aged cheeses. A serving temperature of around 16–18°C is ideal. Decanting for one to two hours is recommended, especially when the wine is young, to allow its aromas and tannins to open fully.
