Damilano Barolo Cerequio is a refined expression of one of Barolo’s most celebrated crus, bringing together the elegance of La Morra with the depth and structure that define great Nebbiolo. Crafted by one of the historic names of the Langhe, this wine reflects both place and tradition, with roots reaching back to the 19th century.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the classic garnet-red color of Barolo, evolving toward orange reflections with age. The bouquet opens with cherry and violet, then layers in balsamic notes along with subtle hints of vanilla and licorice. On the palate, it is intense yet graceful, with a long, persistent finish that shifts between red fruit, tobacco, and leather as it develops. Its structure suggests excellent aging potential, allowing the wine to gain even more complexity and finesse over time.

Production
Made from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the Cerequio subzone of La Morra in Piemonte, this Barolo comes from a historically important Langhe vineyard known for producing wines of finesse and depth. The grapes are fermented under temperature control for around 20 days, helping preserve the grape’s aromatic purity and natural structure.

Food & Serving
This Barolo pairs beautifully with rich, savory dishes such as braised beef, truffle risotto, roast lamb, game, and aged cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for at least 1–2 hours before serving to fully reveal its aromatic complexity and layered structure.
