Damilano Barolo Brunate is a classic expression of one of Barolo’s most admired crus, showing the depth, structure, and aromatic complexity that have made Nebbiolo from La Morra so highly prized. Sourced from the historic Brunate vineyard, it reflects both the pedigree of the site and Damilano’s long connection to Barolo, with roots reaching back to the 19th century.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a garnet-red color with subtle orange reflections, hinting at both its youth and traditional Barolo character. The nose is intense and layered, with aromas of wild berries, liquorice, tobacco, and cocoa, unfolding gradually with time in the glass. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied, and deeply structured, with a persistent finish that balances firmness with a velvety texture. This is a wine built for the cellar as much as the table, and it should develop beautifully over time, gaining more nuance and elegance with age.

Production
Made from 100% Nebbiolo, this Barolo comes from the Brunate subzone in La Morra, where limestone-rich soils and a south-easterly exposure help create a wine of power, precision, and complexity. The grapes are harvested with care and fermented at a controlled temperature for around 20 days to preserve aromatic detail while building the structure Barolo is known for.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with rich, savory dishes such as braised beef, slow-cooked lamb, game, mushroom risotto, and aged cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for at least one to two hours before drinking to allow its aromas and tannins to open fully.
