Tasting Notes
Pale gold in the glass with a luminous sheen, this Condrieu typically opens with lifted aromas of apricot, peach, white flowers, and subtle hints of honey and spice. On the palate, Viognier brings a rich, supple texture balanced by freshness, with stone fruit, citrus peel, and a gentle mineral edge carrying through to a long, graceful finish. While already highly appealing in its youth for its aromatic clarity and generosity, a well-made Condrieu can also develop beautifully over the next few years, gaining depth, nuttier nuances, and more complex floral and honeyed tones.

Production
Produced in the northern Rhône, Condrieu comes from steep, granite-rich slopes that give Viognier its distinctive tension and aromatic lift. Harvesting is typically carried out by hand due to the demanding terrain, and careful vinification is used to preserve the grape’s perfume, purity, and natural richness.

Food & Serving
Serve chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, with no decanting required unless you want to give the wine a little more air in the glass. It pairs wonderfully with dishes such as lobster, scallops, roast poultry, creamy sauces, Asian cuisine with a touch of spice, and soft or washed-rind cheeses.
