Christmann & Kauffmann Cuvée No. 103

Production
The 2020 growing season began with good water reserves after a wet February, followed by a sunny spring, a warm but moderate summer and sufficient rainfall. Healthy, ripe grapes with pronounced acidity were harvested by hand into small crates. The Sekt harvest began on 24 August and was completed on 2 September after eight picking days, with the grapes processed promptly on arrival at the winery to limit oxidation. Further vinification details are not available.

Its freshness and mineral character should work well with oysters, shellfish, smoked fish and lighter dishes with herbs or citrus. Serve well chilled, around 8–10°C. No specific decanting guidance is available; decanting is generally unnecessary for sparkling wine.
