Production
Produced in Pauillac, one of Bordeaux’s most prestigious appellations, the wine benefits from terroir ideally suited to Cabernet Sauvignon: gravelly soils, excellent drainage, and a climate that encourages ripeness while preserving freshness. The blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, adding structure, suppleness, aromatic complexity, and depth. Pontet-Canet is known for biodynamic viticulture and meticulous vinification aimed at expressing purity, precision, and site character.

Food & Serving
This is a natural match for rich, savory dishes such as grilled or roasted beef, duck, lamb, and aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C to allow the wine’s layers of fruit and structure to show at their best. Decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended, especially if opened young, to help the wine open up and soften its tannins.
