Tasting Notes
In the glass, expect a deep, polished Bordeaux red with attractive garnet development at the rim. The nose brings together red and dark berries with cedar, toasted coffee, and a distinctive graphite or pencil-shaving note that speaks to Pauillac’s signature style. On the palate, the wine is structured but refined, with fine-grained tannins, fresh acidity, and a balanced core of fruit that still feels lively rather than fully mature. It already drinks beautifully, yet it has the balance and concentration to continue developing for another 5–10 years, gaining more savoury complexity over time.

The wine comes from Château Lynch-Moussas in Pauillac, Bordeaux, where the gravelly terroir lends power, freshness, and the trademark mineral edge associated with the appellation. The estate has undergone significant improvements in recent years, and the 2015 vintage reflects this progress clearly. It was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, with 50% new oak, adding subtle spice and structure without overwhelming the fruit.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for classic Bordeaux fare such as entrecôte, lamb rack, beef fillet, roast duck, or game with a rich sauce. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for 1–2 hours if you want to open up the aromatics and soften the tannins.
