Description

From the Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire appellation, this organic rosé brings together Grenache Noir and Cinsault grown near Aix-en-Provence. Its hillside setting and the estate’s long-standing commitment to organic farming give this 2024 vintage a strong sense of place and a fresh, Mediterranean style.

Tasting Notes
Pale pink in the glass, it offers an inviting, fresh profile. Expect delicate aromas of red berries and citrus, followed by a bright, dry palate with refreshing fruit and a clean finish. Best enjoyed young to appreciate its freshness; there is no need for extended cellaring.

Production
The estate’s ten hectares in Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire sit in a natural amphitheatre on limestone and clay soils. Sheltered by surrounding hills and mountains from the force of the Mistral, the vineyards benefit from a favourable microclimate for ripening. The Grenache and Cinsault grapes are destemmed, given a short maceration of up to eight hours, then gently pressed. All of Château Henri Bonnaud’s vineyards have been certified organic since 2013.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled, around 8–10°C, alongside grilled fish, prawns, Provençal vegetables or a summer salad. Its fresh, dry style also suits light Mediterranean dishes and aperitifs. Decanting is not necessary.

Producer
Château Henri Bonnaud is located in Le Tholonet, just a few kilometres east of Aix-en-Provence. The agricultural estate spans several appellations, including the celebrated Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire, where it farms ten hectares of vines. Its vineyards have been certified organic since 2013.
