Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the depth and elegance expected from great Barolo, with a profile built on purity, structure, and finesse. The nose offers dried herbs, wild strawberries, and subtle wood notes, while the palate is layered and refined, with clean red fruit, savory spice, and a harmonious, complex finish. The wine’s balance and concentration suggest excellent aging potential, allowing it to evolve beautifully over many years. As it matures, the savory, floral, and earthy elements are likely to become even more pronounced, adding further depth and nuance.

Production
This wine comes from a tiny Nebbiolo parcel in Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of Piemonte’s Barolo zone, where the soils and exposure help bring out both aromatic precision and firm structure. The grapes are given a long maceration on the skins to build intensity and extract the wine’s signature depth, followed by 4 to 5 years of aging in large oak casks to preserve freshness while softening the tannins.

Food & Serving
An excellent match for rich, intense dishes such as braised beef, game, truffle-based pasta, and mature hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting is recommended, especially if enjoyed young, to allow the wine to open and show its full aromatic range.
