Ca’ dei Frati Cuvée dei Frati Extra Brut is a refined Italian sparkling wine that brings together the freshness of Chardonnay and Turbiana in a classic-method style. Inspired by the naturally high acidity of the estate’s grapes, it is crafted to stand alongside some of Italy’s most elegant sparkling wines, with precision, finesse, and a distinctly Lombardy character.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw in color with a fine, persistent mousse, this Extra Brut shows a clean and luminous appearance in the glass. The bouquet is bright and focused, with notes of green apple, citrus zest, white flowers, and subtle brioche-like nuances from time on the lees. On the palate, it is dry, crisp, and energetic, combining fresh orchard fruit with saline minerality and a lively backbone of acidity. The wine’s structure gives it excellent balance and a long, mouthwatering finish. While already charming for its freshness, it should also hold well over the next few years, gradually gaining more depth and complexity.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for oysters, shellfish, sushi, delicate seafood starters, and light antipasti. It also works beautifully with creamy cheeses or refined fried dishes. Serve well chilled at around 6–8°C, and decanting is not recommended.
