Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Valpolicella Superiore typically shows a bright ruby-red color with youthful intensity. The nose is lifted and inviting, with aromas of ripe red cherries, sour cherry, dried herbs, violet, and a gentle hint of spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and elegant, with juicy red fruit, a touch of savory minerality, and well-integrated tannins that give the wine shape without heaviness. A fresh line of acidity keeps it lively and food-friendly, while the Superiore designation adds a little more structure and concentration. It can be enjoyed now for its freshness, but should also hold well over the next few years.
