Best enjoyed neat or over a large ice cube, Brugal 1888 also pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, toasted nuts, caramel desserts, or a fine cigar. Serve slightly below room temperature, ideally around 18–20°C, to let its aromas open fully. Decanting is not necessary, though allowing it to breathe briefly in the glass can enhance its complexity.
