Bowmore 12 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky that balances the island’s signature peat smoke with a mellow, gently sweet character. Bottled at 40% ABV, it’s an approachable introduction to Bowmore’s coastal style.

Aroma & Palate
The aroma brings together lemon, honey and soft peat smoke, with a light maritime note. On the palate, sweet heather honey and citrus meet gentle smoke and hints of spice, leading to a smooth finish with lingering peat and sweetness.

Distillation & Maturation
Made from malted barley and matured for 12 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. The cask selection helps bring together Bowmore’s smoky character with notes of fruit, spice and sweetness.

Serving Suggestions
Enjoy neat to appreciate its balance, or add a few drops of water to open up the aromas. It also works well over a large ice cube; serve with dark chocolate or smoked almonds for a simple pairing.
