Bottega Vinai Pinot Nero Trentino 2023 is a classic expression of Pinot Noir from one of Italy’s most celebrated cool-climate regions. Crafted by Cavit, this wine combines bright fruit, elegance, and a refined structure that reflects both the grape and the terroir of Trentino-Alto Adige.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a ruby-red colour with typical brick-red nuances that become more pronounced with age. The nose is expressive and fruit-driven, with aromas of red berries and black cherry jam, lifted by subtle notes of almond and vanilla. On the palate, it is smooth and harmonious, with a velvety, lightly powdery texture and a well-balanced structure. The wine is already appealing now, but it has enough finesse and backbone to develop beautifully over time, gaining complexity as it matures.

Production
Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this wine comes from Trentino-Alto Adige, where the variety is able to fully express its delicate yet characterful style. Vinification follows the traditional red-wine method, with maceration and skin fermentation lasting 7–8 days, followed by a short stay in stainless steel tanks and partial ageing in both barriques and oak casks.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir works beautifully with roasted poultry, duck, mushroom risotto, veal, and lightly spiced game dishes. Serve it at around 14–16°C, and decanting is not essential, though a short aeration can help bring out its aromatic detail.
