Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a rich amber-copper hue with pronounced viscosity and slow, generous legs. The nose is intensely layered, unfolding with dried apricot, fig, raisin, candied orange peel, honey, toasted nuts, and warm spice, alongside subtle notes of caramel and tobacco. The palate is opulent yet finely balanced, delivering lush sweetness wrapped in lively acidity and a distinctly savory, Sangiovese-driven structure. Flavors of dried fruit, almond, orange marmalade, and spice linger on a long, elegant finish. With its concentration and acidity, it has the potential to age gracefully for many more years.

Production
This Vin Santo is produced in the traditional style of Montepulciano, using carefully selected Sangiovese grapes that are air-dried before pressing to concentrate sugar, flavor, and texture. The wine is then aged slowly in sealed oak casks, where oxidative and reductive influences create its signature depth, aromatic complexity, and silky sweetness.

Food & Serving
Best enjoyed slightly chilled, around 12–14°C, this wine pairs beautifully with almond biscuits, cantuccini, dried fruit desserts, blue cheese, or simply as a contemplative glass on its own. Decanting is usually not necessary, but letting it breathe briefly after opening can help the aromas unfold more fully.
