Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a refined, luminous character with beautifully layered complexity. The nose opens with crisp Granny Smith apple, pomelo, and almond paste, followed by inviting notes of white sandwich bread and oyster shell that speak to its long development on lees. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, with a deep core of vital fruit supported by bright, mouthwatering acidity and framed by a high level of structural dry extract. The finish is juicy, precise, and long, with both energy and finesse. Built for graceful aging, this is a Champagne that will continue to evolve beautifully over time.

Crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Champagne region of France, Bollinger R.D 2008 reflects the house’s meticulous approach to long aging and late disgorgement. Disgorged in October 2024 and finished with a low dosage of 3 grams per litre, it captures the vintage’s purity while preserving Bollinger’s signature depth and structure.

Food & Serving
Ideal with refined dishes such as oysters, sashimi, lobster, roasted poultry, or aged Comté and Parmesan. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary, though a short period in the glass will help раскры the wine’s layered aromatics.
