Deep and concentrated in character, this Champagne is more about structure, texture, and drive than sheer delicacy. Expect a firm, vinous palate with the unmistakable power of Pinot Noir, layered complexity from reserve wines, and a broad, tightly wound profile that gradually opens in the glass. The wine is still developing and will benefit from bottle age; Bollinger suggests allowing at least one to two years for it to fully unfold. Its dosage of 8 g/L helps balance the intensity while preserving freshness and precision.

PN TX20 is centered on the 2020 harvest, a year marked by a notably short 87-day growing cycle from flowering to harvest, which began on August 25. The wine is based on Pinot Noir from Tauxières, combined with 50% reserve wines, including a portion drawn from Bollinger’s extensive library of reserve wines aged in magnum, adding depth and continuity to the blend.

Best served chilled, around 8–10°C, to highlight both its power and freshness. It pairs beautifully with richer dishes such as roast poultry, game birds, mushroom-based plates, aged hard cheeses, or even lobster and scallops with buttery sauces. Decanting is not usually necessary, but a short aeration can help release its layered complexity.
