Made from Corvina, Rondinella and Merlot, it combines ripe fruit, supple texture and classic regional character in a bottle that reflects Bertani’s long-standing expertise in Veronese winemaking.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-red colour with inviting intensity. The nose opens with ripe cherry, plum and dark berry aromas, layered with hints of spice, dried herbs and a subtle touch of cocoa from the Ripasso style. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with smooth tannins and a rounded, juicy mouthfeel. The fruit is generous but balanced by freshness, making it highly enjoyable now while still capable of developing additional complexity over the next few years.

Production
This wine comes from the Valpantena area of Valpolicella in Veneto, a zone known for its cooler hillsides and well-drained soils that help preserve freshness and aromatic purity. The Ripasso method gives the wine extra richness and structure through a second fermentation on the skins left from Amarone production, adding depth and texture to the final blend.

Food & Serving
Ideal with roasted meats, pasta with ragù, grilled sausages, mushroom risotto and mature cheeses. Serve at 16-18°C; decanting for 30 minutes is recommended to allow the aromas and structure to खुल fully, especially if enjoyed young.
