Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby sheen that hints at its concentration. The nose is layered and inviting, with dark cherry, loganberry, cocoa nibs, gentle wood smoke, and subtle notes of leather and iron-rich earth, giving it both brightness and savory complexity. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with a smooth, polished texture, fresh acidity, and ripe yet refined tannins. Flavors of wild berries, oregano, black pepper, and a touch of cocoa build toward a long, mineral-tinged finish. It is enjoyable now, but has the structure and balance to age gracefully for 10–15 years.
