Bellavista Franciacorta Saten 2021

Bellavista Franciacorta Satèn is one of the most elegant expressions of Franciacorta, crafted entirely from Chardonnay and known for its especially refined, creamy mousse. As a DOCG sparkling wine from one of the region’s true icons, it combines finesse, complexity, and a distinctly luxurious character that has helped make Satèn one of the most admired styles in Franciacorta.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a luminous straw-gold colour with an exceptionally fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet is delicate yet captivating, opening with notes of pink flowers, ripe citrus, and a subtle hint of hazelnut. On the palate, it is soft and creamy, with a beautifully balanced interplay between fresh fruit and riper, more rounded nuances. The finish is elegant and composed, with enough depth to suggest excellent ageing potential while remaining delicious in its youth.

Production
Produced in Lombardy’s Franciacorta zone, this wine benefits from the area’s cool climate and mineral-rich soils, which help preserve freshness and aromatic precision. Made from 100% Chardonnay, it is aged for at least four years, with part of the wine matured in oak and part in stainless steel to build both texture and purity. This careful vinification gives the wine its hallmark Satèn softness and layered complexity.

Food & Serving
Best enjoyed slightly chilled, around 8–10°C, this Franciacorta makes a refined aperitif and is also a beautiful match for delicate dishes such as seafood, shellfish, light risottos, or fine poultry preparations. Decanting is not recommended; simply open and serve to preserve its fine mousse and elegance.
