Production
This DOC sparkling wine comes from small plots in a few northern communes in the province of Asti, where Malvasia di Schierano thrives in the local Piedmont terroir. The grapes are small, red, and highly aromatic, and Bava has worked for more than 60 years with local growers to source them successfully. The wine is crafted as a sweet sparkling style that preserves the grape’s natural perfume and vibrant character.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled, ideally at 6–8°C, to preserve its freshness and aromatic lift. It pairs nicely with fruit desserts, pastries, and light sweet treats, and it also works beautifully as a base for refreshing long drinks and elegant cocktails. Decanting is not recommended; simply open and enjoy its lively sparkle.

Bava is a respected family producer in Piedmont with deep roots in the region and a long history of working closely with local winegrowers. The family has been instrumental in developing and promoting Malvasia-based sparkling wine in the area, and their Malvasia Rosé became a trendsetter in Italy in the late 1970s.
