Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep amber-brown color with inviting notes of caramel, chocolate, coffee, and sweet dark berries. The palate is full and smooth, with a generous sweetness balanced by Madeira’s natural freshness and a long, persistent finish that lingers beautifully. Production
This sweet Madeira is made from Tinta Negra sourced from selected vineyards in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos and São Vicente. Fermentation is stopped at the desired sweetness level with grape spirit, and the wine is then aged for up to three years in oak casks. The Estufagem method, which gently heats the wine to mimic the island’s historic sea voyages, helps develop Madeira’s signature toasted, caramelized style.

Ideal with chocolate desserts, salted caramel, roasted nuts, flambered plums, or a rich chocolate brownie with berry compote. Serve slightly chilled, around 12–14°C, and decanting is not necessary.
