Aroma & Palate
The nose is inviting and aromatic, with notes of vanilla, soft citrus, honey and gentle oak, complemented by a hint of coconut and sweet spice. On the palate, it is smooth and rounded, revealing toffee, vanilla cream, honeyed malt and subtle citrus. The finish is warm and lingering, with delicate oak spice and a pleasant sweetness.

Distillation & Maturation
This whisky is matured for 12 years in traditional oak casks before being finished in new American oak casks that have been deeply toasted and lightly charred. This additional maturation brings greater depth and intensity to the whisky, enhancing its vanilla, caramel and warm spice character while preserving the elegant, honeyed style associated with The Balvenie.

Serving Suggestions
Enjoy it neat or with a few drops of water to open up its aromas. It can also be served over a large ice cube for a slower, chilled tasting experience. Its sweet, vanilla-led profile works particularly well in classic whisky cocktails such as an Old Fashioned, or alongside desserts featuring caramel, vanilla, dark chocolate or toasted nuts.

Founded in 1892 in Dufftown, Speyside, The Balvenie is known for maintaining a high degree of traditional craftsmanship, including growing some of its own barley, malting in-house and employing its own coppersmith and coopers. The distillery’s distinctive approach combines carefully managed maturation with a commitment to hands-on production, creating single malts renowned for their rich, honeyed character.
