Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a ruby-red hue. The nose is layered and expressive, with red cherry, dried cranberry, black tea, pink peppercorn, violet, and a touch of licorice leading the way. The palate is full of red fruit, cinnamon, spice, autumn leaves, and forest floor, carried by a subtle smoky thread through the long finish. It is already very enjoyable now, yet has the structure and nuance to gain even more complexity with a few years in bottle.

Production
The fruit comes from Maresh and Weber Vineyard in Oregon, where the 42-year-old vines lend remarkable concentration and character. Harvested entirely by hand, the wine is made with restraint in mind, including only 5–10% new oak so the purity of the fruit and the voice of the vineyards remain front and center.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with duck, roasted chicken, grilled salmon, mushroom dishes, and earthy vegetarian plates. Serve slightly cool, around 14–16°C, and consider decanting briefly if opening young, though it is not strictly necessary.
