In the glass, it shows a deep ruby hue that hints at its concentration and structure. The nose is inviting and layered, with ripe red cherry and raspberry at the core, lifted by floral tones, spice, and a subtle smoky edge. The palate is beautifully balanced, with silky tannins, fresh acidity, and a refined mineral streak that reflects the character of Lavaux St. Jacques. The finish is long and persistent, with fruit and spice lingering elegantly. While already expressive, this wine has excellent aging potential and will continue to evolve toward notes of forest floor, truffle, and leather over time.
