Production
The grapes for this wine come from Kakheti in eastern Georgia, a region renowned for its sun-drenched vineyards, stony soils, and dry continental climate—ideal conditions for the thick-skinned, aromatic Kakhuri Mtsvane variety. The fruit is farmed organically, with no synthetic chemicals used in the vineyard. After harvest, the grapes are processed according to traditional Georgian methods: the must ferments and macerates in clay qvevri buried underground, with 4–5 days of skin contact imparting color, tannin, and texture. No additives, cultured yeasts, fining agents, filtration, or sulfur are employed, resulting in a pure, unmanipulated natural wine that faithfully reflects its terroir and grape variety.

This structured, tannin-rich amber wine is a versatile partner at the table and stands up beautifully to bold, flavorful dishes. It pairs particularly well with roasted or grilled meats (such as lamb, pork, or spiced chicken), aged or semi-hard cheeses, grilled vegetables, and dishes from the grill. Its firm tannins and aromatic profile also make it a superb match for spicy cuisine and contemporary fusion dishes, where heat and complex seasoning need a wine with backbone.
