Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, focused profile with dark fruit at its core rather than a flashy, exuberant color. The nose brings together blackberries, black cherries and understated spice, framed by a stony, almost chalky mineral edge. On the palate, the wine is marked by tension and clarity, with a linear drive that adds height and lift to the fruit. The tannins are well integrated but firm, supporting a persistent finish that suggests both immediate appeal and the ability to develop further complexity over time.

This is an excellent match for roast duck, mushroom dishes, veal, grilled salmon, or poultry with earthy sauces. Serve it slightly cool, around 15–16°C, and consider a short decant if enjoyed young to help the aromatics open up and soften the structure.
