Tasting Notes
Pale and bright in appearance, the wine opens with refined aromas of lime, lemon zest, white peach and green apple, complemented by white flowers, fresh herbs and a subtle smoky slate note. The palate is taut, focused and exceptionally precise, with vibrant acidity, finely integrated body and a pronounced saline minerality. A long, elegant finish leaves an impression of citrus freshness and stony depth. Production
The grapes come from the steep Lorchhausen Seligmacher vineyard, where slate, quartzite and Taunus rock formations contribute to the wine’s distinctive mineral character. They are hand-harvested and rigorously selected before undergoing spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Maturation on the fine lees in a combination of wood and stainless steel adds texture, depth and complexity while preserving the wine’s freshness and terroir expression.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled at around 8–10°C. Its precision and saline freshness make it an excellent partner for oysters, scallops, fine fish, shellfish and poultry, while its aromatic character also suits Asian cuisine, goat’s cheese and refined vegetable dishes. Decanting is not essential, although a brief decant or time in the glass can help reveal the wine’s mineral and herbal nuances.
