Production
The grapes come from the steep terraces of the Lorch Schlossberg, where slate, quartzite and Taunus rock soils combine with a cool microclimate to create Rieslings of great tension and finesse. The fruit is harvested exclusively by hand and carefully selected before undergoing spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Maturation on the fine lees in traditional wooden casks and stainless-steel tanks preserves the vineyard’s character while contributing texture, complexity and depth.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C. This Riesling is an excellent match for oysters, scallops, delicate fish and shellfish, while its mineral freshness also complements poultry, Asian-inspired dishes, goat’s cheese and refined vegetable preparations. Decanting is not essential, but 20–30 minutes in a carafe can help reveal its layers of citrus, flint and saline minerality, especially when enjoyed young.
