Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright, luminous straw-yellow color with a polished, elegant sheen. The nose is layered and expressive, offering white flowers, ripe stone fruit, citrus peel, subtle herbs, and a discreet touch of spice and toast from the oak. On the palate, it is textured and precise, with good depth, freshness, and a mineral backbone that gives structure and length. The oak is used with finesse rather than force, supporting the wine’s richness and persistence. This is a Lugana with excellent aging potential, capable of developing greater complexity over several years.

Production
Produced from Zenato’s most historic Lugana vineyards in Veneto, the wine reflects the clay-rich soils and the cool influence of Lake Garda, which help preserve acidity and aromatic clarity. The grapes are harvested selectively in vintages deemed suitable for long-lived production, with vinification designed to emphasize both concentration and elegance. Partial aging in wood adds structure and longevity while maintaining the varietal character of Trebbiano di Soave.

This Riserva pairs beautifully with refined seafood dishes, grilled fish, scallops, lobster, creamy risottos, and poultry in delicate sauces. It also works well with aged cheeses and mushroom-based dishes. Serve at around 10–12°C, and consider brief decanting if serving young to allow the aromas to open fully.
