Tasting Notes
Deep and inky in the glass, this Cabernet shows the concentration you’d expect from Howell Mountain. The nose bursts with raspberry, blackcurrant, blueberry, dark chocolate, cigar box, and warm spice, creating an inviting mix of fruit, oak, and savory complexity. On the palate, it is full-bodied and intensely layered, with flavors of cassis, blackberry, blueberry, and fig supported by bright acidity and firm structure. The finish is long, smooth, and persistent, with the balance and depth to develop beautifully over time.

Production
Sourced from Howell Mountain, one of Napa Valley’s most celebrated high-altitude Cabernet appellations, this wine reflects a terroir known for excellent drainage, strong sunlight, and naturally concentrated fruit. The blend is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, fermented and then aged for 36 months: 18 months in new French oak, 6 months in neutral oak, and a final year in bottle before release.

This is a superb match for grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, lamb chops, venison, or a richly flavored mushroom dish. Serve at 16–18°C and decant for at least 1–2 hours if drinking now, especially to soften the tannins and open up the aromatic complexity.
