Sourced from Assmannshausen’s Frankenthal site in the Rheingau, the wine benefits from a cool-climate terroir shaped by steep slopes, slate-rich soils, and the moderating influence of the Rhine. These conditions help Pinot Noir ripen slowly while retaining freshness and aromatic purity. The wine is made as a Blanc de Noir, meaning the dark-skinned grapes are pressed gently to extract minimal colour, and the Brut Nature style indicates little to no added dosage, preserving the wine’s natural precision and dryness.

Food & Serving
This sparkling wine is excellent as an aperitif, but it also pairs beautifully with oysters, sashimi, smoked salmon, light poultry dishes, and delicate cheese. Serve well chilled at around 6–8°C to best appreciate its fine mousse and bright acidity. Decanting is not recommended; instead, open just before serving to enjoy its freshness at its peak.
