Description

Weingut Knewitz’s 2023 Weth & Welz brings Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc together in a taut, mineral-driven Rheinhessen blend. Named for the two streams beside the vineyards where the grapes grow, it balances Chardonnay’s generous character with the creamy texture and freshness of Pinot Blanc.

Tasting Notes
A subtle note of wood leads on the nose, reminiscent of warm popcorn, followed by hints of smoke, light tobacco and tea. The Chardonnay’s floral, opulent character is kept in check, allowing the more restrained aromas to emerge.
