The grapes for Halgans come from the famous Monzinger Halenberg, one of the Nahe’s most celebrated Riesling sites, although the name cannot appear on the label. This steep, mineral-driven terroir gives the wine its tension, depth, and signature sense of place. As a premium Riesling from a top producer, it is crafted to develop in bottle, typically showing its best after one to two years of aging.
