Description

A dry Riesling Großes Gewächs from Monzingen’s celebrated Frühlingsplätzchen vineyard, the 2021 combines Nahe precision with the site’s distinctive slate-grown character. It comes from a family estate whose roots in the region stretch back generations.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw in the glass, with a focused nose of citrus, orchard fruit and stony mineral notes. The palate is dry and finely textured, balancing ripe fruit with the bright acidity associated with the cool 2021 vintage. A structured, site-driven Riesling with the concentration to develop further in bottle. It should reward patient cellaring over the coming years, while remaining approachable with some air.
