Tasting Notes
In the glass, Les Enfants Bianco typically shows a pale straw to light lemon hue with subtle greenish highlights, signaling its freshness. The nose is expressive and layered: citrus and white flowers from the Sauvignon Blanc, orchard fruits from Pinot Bianco and Pinot Grigio, and a gentle herbal, almost floral lift from Ribolla. Hints of pear, green apple, lemon zest and fresh herbs mingle with a faint mineral edge. Production
Coming from the cool yet sunny hills of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Villa Russiz Les Enfants Bianco benefits from a mix of marly and sandstone soils that lend both minerality and finesse. The vines enjoy significant day–night temperature swings, preserving acidity and aromatic intensity. Grapes are typically harvested by hand to ensure careful selection and gentle handling of each variety. After a soft pressing, the individual grapes are fermented separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve their distinct character and pure fruit expression, then carefully blended to achieve balance, complexity and drinkability. Malolactic fermentation is generally limited or avoided to keep the wine’s freshness, with a short period of tank aging on fine lees contributing a touch of roundness and harmony before bottling.

Food & Serving
Les Enfants Bianco is an excellent match for delicate seafood, such as grilled prawns, steamed mussels, and white fish with citrus or herb sauces. It also pairs beautifully with light pasta dishes, risotto with spring vegetables, fresh goat cheese, mozzarella, caprese salads, and antipasti platters featuring vegetables and mild cured meats. Serve well-chilled at around 8–10°C (46–50°F) to highlight its freshness and aromatics. Decanting is not necessary; simply open the bottle a few minutes before serving to let the aromas unfold.
