Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the poised, luminous look typical of a carefully made white from Piedmont. The nose opens with ripe pear and peach, lifted by acacia blossom and hawthorn, while a subtle honeyed note adds depth and charm. On the palate, it is dry, warm, and supple, with a beautifully balanced structure and no hard edges. The finish is marked by a vivid, persistent acidity that brings length and energy, suggesting good aging potential over the next several years as the wine gains complexity and even more nuance.

Production
This Derthona is made from Timorasso grapes grown in Piedmont, where the variety is valued for its strong sense of place and ability to express terroir clearly. Fermentation lasts around four weeks and takes place partly in ceramic, partly in wooden vats, and partly in stainless steel, allowing the wine to develop both texture and freshness. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out, and the wine spends a total of 10 months aging in ceramic, wood, and stainless steel on fine lees, with repeated bâtonnage to build body and depth.

Food & Serving
A versatile food wine, this Timorasso works especially well with rich seafood, shellfish, roast chicken, creamy pasta, and vegetable dishes with depth and texture. Serve chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and there is no need to decant unless you would like to let its aromatic complexity open further in the glass.
