Description

Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne is one of the house’s most recognized cuvées, prized for its consistent style, elegance, and instantly identifiable character. Blending Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, it reflects the heritage of a legendary Champagne house founded in 1772 and remains a benchmark for classic non-vintage Champagne.

Tasting Notes
Pale gold in the glass, it shows a fine, persistent mousse that speaks to its polished style. The nose is fresh and inviting, with aromas of apple, pear, and citrus layered over subtle notes of brioche, toasted nuts, and a gentle biscuity complexity. On the palate, it is well-balanced and lively, combining crisp acidity with a creamy texture and a generous fruit core. The finish is clean, elegant, and refined, with enough structure to drink beautifully now and maintain its appeal over the next few years.

Production
Produced in Champagne, France, this non-vintage blend brings together grapes from the region’s signature varieties to create a harmonious expression of freshness, fruit, and structure. Pinot Noir provides backbone, Pinot Meunier adds roundness and fruit, and Chardonnay contributes lift and finesse, resulting in the house’s trademark style.

Food & Serving
Excellent with oysters, seafood, sushi, light canapés, roast chicken, or creamy cheeses, Veuve Clicquot Brut also works well as an aperitif. Serve chilled at 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended; instead, open shortly before serving to preserve its freshness and bubbles.

Producer
Champagne Veuve Clicquot was founded in 1772 and became one of the most influential houses in Champagne under the leadership of Madame Clicquot, a pioneering figure who helped shape modern Champagne. Today, it remains one of the region’s most famous producers, celebrated worldwide for quality, consistency, and a distinctive house style.
