Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a luminous pale gold color with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is expressive and polished, opening with citrus zest, white flowers, ripe orchard fruit and subtle toasted notes, followed by hints of almond and chalk. On the palate, it is concentrated yet graceful, with Pinot Noir bringing structure, depth and a fine saline edge, while Chardonnay adds tension, lift and brightness. The finish is long, mineral and refined, with excellent aging potential that will allow the wine to gain even more complexity over time.

Production
La Grande Dame 2015 is built around Pinot Noir from some of Veuve Clicquot’s most prized vineyard sites, with Chardonnay adding balance and finesse. The grapes come from Champagne’s cool continental climate and chalk-rich soils, which help preserve freshness and bring a distinct mineral character. The wine is vinified with great precision to emphasize purity, texture and aging potential.

Food & Serving
This Champagne pairs beautifully with seafood, particularly scallops, lobster, caviar and sushi, as well as refined dishes such as roast poultry or truffle risotto. Serve chilled at around 8-10°C, and while decanting is not necessary, a brief rest in the glass can help the aromas open up.
