Production
La Grande Dame is crafted from carefully selected fruit sourced from Veuve Clicquot’s top vineyards, with an emphasis on Pinot Noir, the grape that most clearly expresses the house’s strength in structure and depth. The 2018 vintage benefited from a generous growing season in Champagne, allowing for ripe fruit and excellent balance. Traditional Champagne vinification and extended ageing on lees help build the wine’s signature texture and complexity.

This Champagne is ideal with refined dishes such as oysters, scallops, caviar, sushi, lobster, or roast poultry with a delicate cream sauce. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C, and while decanting is not necessary, allowing it a few minutes in the glass can help the aromas open beautifully.
