Description

Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label is one of the world’s most recognizable Champagnes and the house’s defining signature. First established in 1772, Veuve Clicquot has long stood for quality, consistency, and a style that balances power, freshness, and elegance with remarkable finesse.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright golden hue with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is expressive and layered, offering ripe apple, pear, citrus, white flowers, and brioche, with subtle notes of toasted nuts and a touch of vanilla. The palate is full and harmonious, combining generous fruit with lively acidity and the maison’s hallmark lightly toasty character. Pinot Noir brings structure and depth, Chardonnay adds precision and freshness, and Meunier lends roundness and charm. Enjoyed now for its energy and balance, it will also hold well over the next few years, gaining additional complexity.

Production
This cuvée is crafted from more than 50 different crus, with a strong emphasis on Pinot Noir, supported by Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Reserve wines play an important role in maintaining the house style from year to year. The result is a Champagne that reflects both careful blending and the diverse terroirs of the Champagne region.

Food & Serving
Yellow Label is wonderfully versatile and works just as well as an aperitif as it does at the table. It pairs beautifully with oysters, seafood, sushi, light poultry, creamy dishes, and aged cheeses. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and there is no need to decant.

Producer
Champagne Veuve Clicquot is one of the great historic houses of Champagne and a benchmark for the region. Founded in 1772, it became especially famous under Madame Clicquot, whose vision helped shape modern Champagne. Today, the house remains celebrated for its consistency, structure, and instantly recognizable style, with Yellow Label as its most iconic expression.
