Description

Verus Pinot Gris 2025 is a fresh, lively white from Štajerska, Slovenia, with fragrant floral and citrus character and a gently sweet edge. Its restrained, cool stainless-steel fermentation helps preserve an inviting, fruit-led style.

Tasting Notes
The nose opens with floral muscat notes, citrus and orange. On the palate, a charming hint of sweetness is balanced by freshness and energy, with a pleasant, persistent finish. No specific colour or ageing guidance is provided; enjoy it while its fresh, aromatic character is at its best.

Production
The grapes were pressed soon after being picked while still cold, with no skin contact to limit pronounced aromas and phenolic extraction. Fermentation then took place in stainless steel over three weeks at temperatures below 15°C. Further details about vineyard conditions and harvesting methods are not available.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled, around 8–10°C. Its lively acidity and touch of sweetness make it a good match for seafood, grilled chicken, fresh salads and gently spiced dishes. Decanting is not necessary.
