Description

Velich TO is a characterful Burgenland white blend led by Chardonnay, with Sauvignon Blanc and Welschriesling adding freshness and aromatic lift. “TO” is the Hungarian word for “lake,” a nod to the vineyards around Lake Neusiedl near the Austrian-Hungarian border and to the origins of this signature cuvée.

Tasting Notes
The aromatic profile brings restrained green notes from Sauvignon Blanc together with floral and herbal nuances, while a stony mineral character sits in the background. On the palate, the wine is expressive yet balanced, combining citrus fruit with sweeter, exotic-fruit notes.

Production
The grapes come from vineyards around Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland. The varieties are vinified in a combination of stainless-steel tanks and wooden casks, giving the blend a balance of freshness and texture.
