Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby to dark garnet color, hinting at its generous fruit core. The nose opens with ripe dark berries, plum, and black cherry, supported by notes of spice, cocoa, and a touch of savory earth. On the palate, the blend delivers plush fruit, firm but approachable tannins, and a full-bodied shape that balances richness with freshness. Malbec, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Tannat, Tempranillo, and Zinfandel each contribute something distinct, creating a wine with depth, spice, and a smooth finish. It is enjoyable now and should continue to evolve well over the next few years.

Sourced from California vineyards, this blend reflects the region’s warm days and cooling influences, which help develop ripe fruit while preserving balance. The grapes are typically harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified separately before being assembled into the final blend, allowing the producer to shape texture, structure, and aromatic complexity.

This wine pairs well with grilled steaks, barbecued ribs, braised short ribs, pepper-crusted lamb, and rich dishes with smoky or savory seasoning. Serve slightly below room temperature, around 16–18°C, and decant for 30–60 minutes if possible to help the wine open up fully.
