Tasting Notes
The wine typically shows a deep ruby color with impressive concentration in the glass. Aromas often lean toward blackcurrant, ripe plum, dark cherry, tobacco, graphite, and sweet spice, with the Cabernet Franc adding freshness and an herbal edge. On the palate, Giusto di Notri is usually full-bodied and layered, with polished tannins, lively acidity, and a long, persistent finish. The 2023 vintage should be enjoyed young for its fruit purity, but it also has the depth and structure to develop beautifully with several years of bottle age.

Production
Giusto di Notri comes from Tua Rita’s vineyards in Tuscany’s Maremma, where warm days, cooling maritime influences, and mineral-rich soils help the grapes ripen evenly while retaining freshness. The fruit is typically harvested by hand at optimal maturity, with careful selection in the vineyard and cellar to preserve quality. Vinification is carried out with a focus on gentle extraction and balance, followed by maturation in oak to shape the wine’s structure and complexity.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for grilled beef, roasted lamb, game, braised short ribs, and rich Tuscan dishes such as wild boar ragù or truffle pasta. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if opening it young to help the aromatics and tannins fully open.
