Torre Rosazza’s Friuli Grave Pinot Nero 2025 is an elegant, fresh-fruited red from Oleis di Manzano, where cool nights help preserve the grape’s aromatic character. Founded in 1972, the winery brings together regional tradition and a sustainability-focused approach in this refined expression of Pinot Noir.

Tasting Notes
Clear ruby red in the glass, it opens with inviting aromas of wild strawberries, redcurrants and cherries, layered with delicate floral and spice notes. The palate is fresh and soft, with fine, well-integrated tannins, a pleasing sense of weight and a persistent finish.

Production
The Pinot Noir comes from Friuli Grave vineyards near Oleis di Manzano, where marked differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures help retain freshness and aromatic intensity. The vines, around 20–25 years old and trained using the Guyot system, are cultivated with an organic and sustainable approach; yields are limited to 55 quintals per hectare. After harvest, typically in the first week of September, the grapes are destemmed and macerated on their skins for five days before fermenting in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Part of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and partial barrel ageing, while the remainder matures in steel. The components are blended and rested in the cellar for at least two months before release.

Food & Serving
Enjoy it with lighter meats or a risotto with mushrooms or truffles. Serve at 14–18°C and decant for about an hour before drinking.
