Torial Red Sonoma County 2020

Torial Red Sonoma County 2020 is a rich, full-bodied California red blend from Joe Wagner, a fifth-generation member of the family behind Caymus. Combining Zinfandel, Carignan and Grenache, it delivers the generous dark-fruited style for which Wagner wines are known, with plenty of warmth, spice and plush oak character.

Tasting Notes
Deep and concentrated in appearance, the wine opens with ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum aromas, followed by layers of sweet spice, vanilla, cocoa and a hint of toasted oak. The palate is full, soft and generously textured, with abundant dark fruit, rounded tannins and a smooth, sweetly spiced finish. The long, warm aftertaste leaves an impression of ripe fruit and gentle oak seasoning. This is a powerful, immediately approachable wine rather than one built around delicacy or restraint.
