Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby-garnet colour with impressive intensity. On the palate, this Amarone is rich, full-bodied, and velvety, with concentrated dark fruit, savoury complexity, and a long, warming finish. Production
Made from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grown in the Valpolicella Classico area of Veneto, Vigneto Alto reflects a careful selection of fruit from a cooler, elevated vineyard site. The grapes are traditionally harvested by hand and then undergo the appassimento method, where they are partially dried to intensify flavour, richness, and texture before fermentation and ageing.

Food & Serving
This is a superb match for braised meats, venison, roast beef, game, mature hard cheeses, and rich mushroom dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for at least an hour before serving to allow the wine to fully open and reveal its aromatic depth.
