Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Riserva shows a bright, elegant color that hints at freshness and precision. The nose is intense and complex, with white flowers and citrus unfolding over a clearly mineral backbone that reflects the variety’s classic profile. On the palate, it is full and enveloping, with impressive intensity and a beautifully balanced structure. The long lees aging adds breadth and subtle complexity, while the finish brings a delicate almond note that lingers nicely. It has the concentration to drink well now, but it can also benefit from a few more years of bottle aging.

Production
Made from 100% Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the grapes come from marine-influenced soils of Pliocene origin, where fossilized shell fragments can still be found. Harvest takes place in late September, and fermentation is carried out in stainless steel at a controlled 16°C to preserve freshness and aromatic purity. The wine is then aged for 15–18 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature conditions, a process that builds texture, complexity, and a more expressive finish while maintaining the grape’s natural mineral identity.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for refined seafood dishes, shellfish, grilled white fish, risotto, herb-roasted poultry, and vegetable-based Tuscan cuisine. Serve it at 10–12°C, and decanting is generally not necessary, though a short aeration can help open up its aromatic layers.
